Born in 1987 in Brussels, Belgium, Jonas Sanders grows up in a family where art and music has a significant place. He stars playing drums at the age of 4 with the support of his parents and soon begins his classical training at the Music Academy of Brussels where he graduates with highest honors 7 years later. Once finished with high school, Jonas continues practising his insturment by joining the Royal Conservatorium of Brussels where he studies Jazz theory for 4 years with renouned musician such as Bruno Castellucci, Jean-Louis Rassinfosse, Michel Hatzigeorgiou, ... refining his style and personality.
At age 14, Jonas joins his first metal band called Dark Sensation, giving him his first live and studio opportunities. With time he joins several bands, records and tours Europe relentlessly becoming a more and more demanded drummer.
Jonas Sanders is currently playing for New-York hardcore legends Pro-Pain, the belgian experimental act Emptiness and continues undertaking session work.
With the experience gained on stage and in studio, Jonas Sanders joined the team of the Blackout Studioin Brussels early 2017 where he now produces bands and teaches drums, sharing is vision and career advice to a growing community of musicians.
